Kizlyar Supreme Senpai Knife Camp Duties. Video Review Field Test

Camp Duties with my Kizlyar Supreme Senpai Japanese style Tanto

Hi well here it is my video review based on field testing the Senpai knife from Kizlyar Supreme for just over 3 weeks of camp duties. The Sen Pai comes under Kizlyar Supreme's "Large Outdoor knife" product range. At first glance it looks like a weapon but it's way more than this. Despite the Senpai being a 170mm odd long Japanese style Tanto (albeit with a non Japanese hollow grind), I found it easy to use and comfortable. The Senpai did all I required of it which meant helping to start fires if needed, cutting up and preparing food, either outdoors or indoors and general utility jobs which might involve cutting fibrous materials. The sheath when exposed to UV light artificially, fluoresced and this to me also indicated the presence of UV stabilisers in the plastic mix to help protect against sunlight damage as well. The over all design is sleek and simple with it's full width tang and ABS and Kraton grips, which should one be so unfortunate to destroy them (not sure how you would do this other than by leaving the knife in a fire LOL and the blade would be rubbish after that anyway- but you could easily remove the grips and cord wrap this handle, although it might be a bit tricky to get it to stay within the scabbard but certainly not impossible.
