FKMD FX-601 SHERPA D2

A 5" DUAL GRIND DROP POINT made with K110 (D2) tool steel, black Idroglider coating (PTFE) on a stone washed blade. Micarta scales, generous finger choil, a FOX knives design.

For those who prefer their outdoor knives to made with D2, a long proven tool steel of considerable toughness and hardness and enough corrosion resistance not to be constantly wiping the blade dry.

Strong point and sturdy construction
Comfortable to hold at only 12Oz.
Handle scale pattern provides a good solid yet comfortable grip
Flat ended pommel for comfort and less chance of damaging oneself if pressure applied to the butt end of this knife.
Dual grind pattern with a pseudo scandi grind, perfect for splitting timber


Thumb gimping can easily strike a fire steel (note fire steel oxidation marks (above image)  on blade).
It's possible to tie/fix this knife to a pole to reach/cut out of reach objects.
5mm thick spine easy to prepare food with.


Full leather scabbard last construction, featuring both vertical and horizontal carry options.
