The Senpai is one of Kizlyar Supreme's coolest (but functional cool) models.
I have one of the originals, which sports a full tang; nothing but the scale bolt holes are present. Maybe a little on the heavy side but there are advantages here and I will speak about this later.
They first started bringing them out in AUS8 (now other options for blade steel).
Kizlylar Supreme are certainly "supreme" when it comes to heat treatment and especially of AUS8. As I've said many times heat treatment is NOT an art but a science and Kizlyar Supreme have this science dialled.
Their heat treatment of AUS8 is nothing short of excellent for all of the reasons seen in my outdoor testing of this steel on Australian hardwoods and Northern hemisphere hardwoods.
Sleek lines, great balance, shallow hollow ground all built around 5mm thick slab of AUS8. Super ergonomic Kraton and ABS scales; kydex scabbard (full compatibility with Molle systems).
